In The Spotlight: Stacy From The Bambi Eyes

This week we caught up with Stacy Simon from The Bambi Eyes where she blogs about personal style, travel, dating, food, and everything that is a close part of her life. She was on the way to Barcelona, Spain just before we published this interview, so hope you can connect with her and see the travel photos on her social media!

What made you start your website?

I originally started thebambieyes.com with a childhood friend and at the time we were filled with a lot of inspiration and needed an outlet to express whatever it is we wanted.

Where do you get your fashion inspiration?

From many different cultures. I love looking through street style photos of people from all over the world and seeing how they put things together to create their own unique style.

How would you describe your style?

Chameleon. I don’t think I have a certain style and I’ve always been this way ever since I experimented with my looks as a teenager. I’ve gone from tomboy, to girly girl, to punk, to scenester, and I’ve also been heavily influenced by both the Japanese and Korea cultures as well. I’m in a new phase in my life but I always have some of those past looks discreetly somewhere in my style.

How do you choose jewelry for an outfit?

It’s probably crazy to say but I’ve never been much of a jewelry type of girl so when I do decide to wear some bling it’s usually simple and dainty. Aside from myself, I often like that my outfit is the main focus and my jewelry be the understatement.

What’s your proudest moment so far running your website?

Having no fear to create the content I want to create and showing my growth throughout the years.

What advice would you give yourself if you had to start over again?

Don’t let negativity persuade you out of something you believed in and never let any creativity go to waste.

In your view, what’s the biggest challenge in the fashion blogging space right now?

Finding the balance of trendy and unique.

Dog or cat?

Cats but it’s allergic to their fur so I grew to love dogs 😛
